Don’t worry though because in a few short hours you can do a major deep clean to get your bathroom looking as good as new. Here’s a step-by-step guide to getting your bathroom sparkling clean!
Step 1: Remove as much as you can – A lot of people have a tough time cleaning their bathroom because they forget this step. You really can’t do a good clean if all your toiletries are lying around. Put them all somewhere else first.
Step 2: Clean all the removed items – Before you start cleaning the bathroom itself make an effort to get everything you keep in the bathroom clean too. There’s no good have dirt free enamel with a grimy toothbrush holder on top. If you’re not sure how to get individual beauty items clean check online. For example there are lots of handy resources on cleaning make-up brushes or to see how to clean a hairbrush click here.
Step 3: Scrub the tiling – Now you’re ready to tackle the bathroom itself. With all your toiletries removed work on your tiling first of all.
Step 4: Shine the enamel – Next sort the enamel. You’ll probably need a specialist product for this. Opt for trusted brand names if you’re not sure which to buy.
Step 5: Polish the glass – Don’t let stains get in the way of your make-up application in the mirror! Shine and polish until all you can see is your reflection.
Step 6: Bleach the toilet – Dirty toilets are the worst! Use a specially formulated bleach product to clean right round the rim and bowl. Leave it to soak for a few minutes before flushing. Repeat as required.
Step 7: Disinfect all areas – Once you’ve finished cleaning the surfaces use disinfectant wipes to remove any remaining bacteria.
Step 8: Clean the floors – Last on the bathroom cleaning list is the floor, sweep and mop then leave to dry for about half an hour.
Step 9: Replace all removed items – When the floor is dry you’re ready to put all your newly clean toiletries and beauty tools back. If you didn’t wash them earlier you could do so now. Just remember to know exactly how to get things fresh and clean. If you need to know things like how to clean a hairbrush or what products are safe to use on your toothbrush make sure to research online beforehand.
Step 10: Enjoy your beautifully clean bathroom – Now your deep clean is finished you’re ready to use your bathroom once again. It’ll be sparkling and fresh, so take satisfaction in all your hard work and enjoy!
